[ Though Neuvillette doesn't express it, he is grateful to have his boundaries respected. Far too many times have people asked him invasive questions he would rather not answer. People don't need to know what he is, both because values his privacy and because he's concerned that the dissemination of the truth might bring down the wrath of the Heavenly Principles, should they wake up after five centuries of inactivity. (Though he doesn't know it, it is a valid concern; Orobashi had learned the truth from one of the books in Enkanomiya, and was sentenced to death for it.)

Not that Neuvillette particularly likes the idea of doing what the usurper wants by keeping quiet, but he values the lives of his and Furina's citizens more than elucidating them on the history of the Sovereigns. ]


How is one supposed to be impartial in a poetry contest? All creative endeavors are inherently subjective.
